Aftercare
-
Leave the clear bandage on for up to 24 hours. Fluid under the clear bandage is normal. If it leaks, remove it as soon as possible.
Showering while wearing the clear bandage is fine. No bathing or submerging.
To remove, find an edge and pull with the direction of the hair growth. Warm water or coconut oil will help.
Wash with unscented soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel, or air dry.
Once the bandage is removed, start our general aftercare instructions.

Leave the bandage on for 2-4 hours.
Wash your hands and remove the bandage. Gently wash the tattoo with warm water and unscented antibacterial soap.
Once the bandage is removed, start our general aftercare instructions.

For the next two weeks:
Wash your hands before touching the tattoo.
Gently wash with unscented antibacterial soap.
Pat dry with a clean paper towel, or air dry.
Apply coconut oil or Aquaphor 2-4 times a day - enough to lightly cover the tattoo. Applying too thickly will irritate the tattoo.
The tattoo will scab and itch. Do your best to avoid scratching or picking at the tattoo - it can change how the tattoo looks after it heals.
Seek medical attention immediately for: redness, pus, swelling, feeling hot, etc.
-
Sleep in something clean and loose that will cover the tattoo.
Sweating, bathing, swimming, or fully submerging a healing tattoo is strongly discouraged.
We recommend Green Soap or unscented antibacterial soaps, and unscented moisturizers like coconut oil or Aquaphor.
Once it’s healed, wear the highest SPF sunscreen on your tattoo anytime you’re outside.
